According to the auction listing on Bring a Trailer, this Firebird’s current owner purchased the vehicle nine years ago. They refurbished the vehicle from 2018 to 2019. That work included removing and taking apart the car’s suspension components, drivetrain, and front end.
Additionally, the seller rebuilt this Pontiac’s engine and transmission. They also media blasted and refinished several components. Afterward, they refinished this Trans Am in white with a blue hood stripe.
According to the listing, this 1971 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am is available on dealer consignment. The sale will include a broadcast sheet, refurbishment records, PHS documents, car show awards, a car cover, and a clean California title. The selling dealer is offering this vehicle at no reserve.

An LS5 455ci High Output V8 engine with a four-barrel carburetor powers this 1971 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am. According to the listing, Pontiac factory rated this bad boy to have an output of 305 hp and 430 lb-ft of torque.
A Muncie M22 four-speed manual gearbox coupled with a Safe-T-Trac Differential sends that power to the Firebird’s rear wheels. In addition to rebuilding this vehicle’s engine and transmission, the seller also replaced the fuel tank, wiring harness, exhaust system, and left exhaust manifold.
