The 10 Daily Exercises That Nearly All Millionaires Do

Running, jogging, exercise, man, training, fitness

Have you ever wondered what sets millionaires apart from the rest of the population? Spoiler alert: they do things differently.

It takes a lot of hard work to reach millionaire status, but it’s a very obtainable goal, if you learn from and employ the habits nearly every wealthy person has. There’s a reason millionaires do so many of the same things: they work.

So what are these habits, you ask? We’ve got the details.

1. Wake Up Early

You read this right. And by early, we don’t mean 8 a.m. The majority of millionaires have admitted to waking up at the bright and early hour of 6 a.m.

That gives them enough time to fit in a healthy breakfast and prepare for the day ahead, mentally checking off everything they need to do. You know what they say: the early bird gets the worm.

2. Stay Fit

This is important, too. Staying fit makes it easy to keep your energy levels up—which millionaires need to do due to their long days—and helps you stay in shape.

If you’re one of those who thinks you don’t have enough time to fit in a workout, think again. There’s always a free 15 to 20 minutes to get in a brisk walk or pick up some weights. Make it a priority, because in order to be successful, you have to be able to keep up with the grind.

3. Read up on Current Events

In order to make smart decisions, it’s critical to stay up-to-date on current events. Millionaires typically read the financial sections and check the markets to keep their finger to the pulse on their investments.

Staying on top of current events also ensures they can make spur-of-the-moment decisions as necessary to avoid a significant loss.

4. Eat Well

You are what you eat, and if you’re constantly eating junk food or takeout, you’ll soon find out how sluggish eating wrong can make you. That doesn’t mean you can never indulge, but keep it to a minimum.

Start off with a healthy breakfast, and make sure you eat all your meals, even if you’re in a time crunch. Protein shakes are great for on-the-go. Avoid too much caffeine and get your daily servings of fruits and veggies.

5. Stay Learning

Warren Buffett passed millionaire status some time ago, but he credits some of his success to reading every day. In doing that, he learns something new and can use that information to further growth.

To become and stay a millionaire, learning is essential, whether it’s new software, new strategies, or new approaches to business problems.

6. Make Smart Decisions

Millionaires don’t rush head-first into the decision-making process. They take their time and research every opportunity, even when there’s a tight deadline.

Some risks they take are higher than others, but the greater the risk, the more significant the reward. Yet, those risks are still calculated with one goal in mind—coming out ahead.

7. Live Modestly

Just because you have money doesn’t mean you need to flaunt it. In fact, it’s better that you don’t for several reasons.

First, you don’t want to become a target. Second, the more you spend, the more you’re compromising your wealth. Buy a home and a car, for sure, but keep them modest. There’s no need to keep up with the Joneses, here.

8. Focus on Self-Improvement

Everybody could use a little self-improvement. It helps you enjoy life more and gives you a leg up when it comes to achieving your own goals.

Look at activities that improve your overall being, whether it’s therapy, engaging with the community, or any activity that truly makes you happy. It will give you reason to continue and inspiration to achieve your goals.

9. Embrace Success and Failure

Without failure, there can be no success. This is because we learn from failing what not to do next time around.

Even if you fail multiple times, don’t give up, because that’s when you truly hit rock bottom. Instead, pull lessons from each failure and use them to propel you toward success.

10. Set Goals for the Future

Millionaires are constantly setting goals, whether it’s an investment they’re looking into, or a business they want to start. They keep growing to keep their wealth growing. It doesn’t matter what your goals are, only that you know what they are.

But, the important part? Go after those goals. Don’t just write them down. Pursue them. Millionaires do.
